What's the difference between base types?

SIPs — Structural insulated panels. Standard max spacing: 1.22m × 1.5m.
4"×2" — Traditional timber joists (47×100mm). Max spacing: 1.2m × 1.2m.
5"×2" — Heavier timber joists (47×125mm). Max spacing: 1.5m × 1.5m.
6"×2" — Heavy-duty joists (47×150mm). Max spacing: 1.8m × 1.8m.
